MEMPHIS — The Indiana Pacers (13-7) are starting to purr like a kitten even without their superstar Victor Oladipo. They rolled down to Memphis on Monday night, jumped off of the bus, handled their business in a 117-104 win and dipped. When the smoke cleared seven Pacers walked out of the joint with double figures led by Malcolm Brogdon’s 19 points.

Domantas Sabonis dropped off his usual double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. He’s a double-double machine right now. Myles Turner had 17. Both Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday had 15 apiece and TJ Warren dropped off 14. Aaron Holiday had 11.

Indiana moved the ball like crazy finishing the night with 31 assists!!! Nate McMillan’s goal is to have at least 24 assists and they sprinted through that easily as they have now won six of seven games.

Memphis was short four players to various injuries including Ja Morant.  Therefore,  they struggled to find any kind of rhythm as the Pacers kept firing that thang on them. Indiana shot 50 percent from the field and 42 percent from behind the arc.

Don’t get it twisted though, Jaren Jackson Jr. put a game and season high on the Pacers dropping 31 points. Former Pacers Solomon Hill threw 22 points at the Pacers in a valiant effort but the balanced scoring of Indiana was way too much for the Grizzlies on Monday night.
