The problem with these young cats is that they’ve got no respect for the game nor do they know the history of the game. I’m not just talking about the hoop game. I’m talking about the rap game too. We live in a microwave society that will just spit boyz out without them paying an ounce of dues.
Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past 24 to 36 hours you’ve heard Dame Lillard come side ways at Shaq being a rapper telling boyz that ole boy was just Shaq rappin’ and then telling Joe Budden and Co. that he was a better rapper. That’s like a cat walking around with a demo telling boyz that he’s a better rapper than Snoop. Shaq’s certified bruh and you don’t even have a record to play.
Say what you want playa but Shaq has a platinum album and multiple gold singles! Not only was he a legitimate artist but the dun had ligitimate features cats like Biggie with real hip hop producers. Duns like Def Jef and Erick Sermon produced his first album bruh! If he weren’t legit they wouldn’t have put their names on his joint. C’mon man…you’re playin’ yourself.
Don’t get it twisted, there have been several hoopers that have tried to rap and failed miserably but Shaq isn’t one of them. We all saw cats like Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Kobe, Steve Francis, Kevin Durant and Cedric Ceballos just to name a few, try to get in the game. However, the game spit them out before they could take their jackets off.
After Shaq literally played “Big Bank take Little Bank” on the diss response to a boy Dame played himself again by trying to put out a response to him. Now I know he let his homeboyz gas him up and it got away from him because 95 percent of what he was saying was a set up for him to get blasted AGAIN by the Big Aristotle.
First of all, whatever the dun says is going to get drowned out because Shaq’s mic is ALWAYS going to be bigger than Dame’s. Why? Because Shaq is certified in BOTH games and Dame isn’t in either. No Platinum or Gold records. No rings or MVP’s, no statues and no Hall of Fame. When they write the book on Hip Hop Shaq’s name will be in the book and when they write the book on basketball he’ll be on the first page.

This dun gets on the record talking about Kobe and D Wade winning those championships that Shaq were apart of but he doesn’t have a single ring. He sounds stupid!! Not only does he sound stupid he sounds like he doesn’t even know the game he actually plays. Shaq was the reason all of those championships were won. Really bruh? You don’t even know the history of the game you’re supposed to be playing.

He goes on to bring up Shaq’s movies when he’s not been in a single one. Space Jam II has yet to be released. See where this has hit the guard rails? Then the ole boy starts pulling his own skin off when he starts hollerin’ about his pockets being deep because of the recent Super Max deal he just signed for $196 million. That would sound good if he were beefin’ with me but the homie Meek Mill said it best, “It’s levels to this.”

A person that has a net worth of over $400 million and he’s making more than $60 million per year right now off of endorsements and other business ventures. What are you talking about? They beat Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals in 1995. Now I know what he meant but he didn’t say it.
