Well playas…Glenn Robinson III was ready when Nate McMilan called his number on Friday night! With both Paul George and CJ Miles out due to injuries it was the next man up theory and Lil’ G Rob had his hammer! He led the Pacers in scorin’ with 20 points and 5 rebounds as they beat the brakes off of the Brooklyn Nets 118-97.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I told you boyz durin’ the pre-season that the young boy from The G was something special! He had a great off season and trainin’ camp with Nate and Co. bein’ impressed with his energy off of the bench. Durin’ this stretch with both Paul and CJ out he’s gettin’ some needed minutes that will fair well for this team later on in the season.
As long as boyz can pile into Big Momma’s ride and still win games like they did down in OKC last week and beat the brakes off of the teams that they should beat like the dull Nets. Gettin’ duns like Glenn crazy minutes is beneficial to the TEAM down the stretch of the season.
So instead of consistently goin’ 8 deep they can go 9 deep with a boy that isn’t afraid to step up when they need him to. Well, why not playa? He is from The G! Like I told you boyz more than a year ago, Glenn Robinson III is good for business and basketball in the Crazy Hot Joint entitled, “G Blood!”
I’ll go to my grave tellin’ boyz that the best preparation for success is to be from the ghetto! If you can survive there you can survive ANYWHERE. Now Lil’ G may not have grown up in the ghetto but his momma and daddy grew up in my hometown of Gary In. more affectionately known as G.I. or The G and that’s good enough. Why? Because if his momma and daddy is from The G then he’s got that G-Blood and it runs strong. No suburb can ever water it down bruh.
So when Nate walks in and tells a boy that he’s startin’ tonight when he was expectin’ to only warm up and he drops 20 and 5, that’s called bein’ ghetto ready. Ghetto ready is to understand that at any moment something can pop off. So you’ve got to always keep your head on a swivel to never get caught sleepin’ out here. G-Blood will ALWAYS keep you from fallin’ asleep playboy.

With Glenn goin’ to work it energized the rest of the team. Rodney Stuckey came off of the bench with 18 points. Both Myles Turner and Al Jefferson dropped 16 apiece into the kitty. Turner added a cool 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Followed by Monta Ellis comin’ through with 14 as Thaddeus Young left 11 on the doorstep.
The Pacers shot 55 percent from the field and 42 percent from behind the arc. They weren’t too many teams that could have beaten the Pacers on Friday night shootin’ like that bruh. I’m just sayin’! Stop me when I start lyin’!
