INDIANAPOLIS — After sitting in the cut for a week due to a couple of games being postponed the Indiana Pacers struggled to find their rhythm on Wednesday night while hosting the Golden State Warriors.

Even though they were able to contain the best shooter in the history of the sport they still fell short on the final score. When the smoke cleared Golden State walked out on top 111-107.

Instead of Steph Curry doing all of the work by shooting from Long’s Bakery in nearby Haughville on them all night it was Draymond in the end that was the difference maker.

Curry struggled to find the basket as he finished 7-of-21 from the field and was a mere 1-of-11 from behind the arc. He finished the night with 24 points. However, Draymond’s energy down the stretch helped carry the Warriors to victory.

Green finished the night with 12 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds and 3 steals not to mention the attitude of not giving up that was contagious.

“I think in general we don’t really need Draymond to score,” coach Steve Kerr said after the game. “We need him to do what he needs energy wise but there are going to be some nights like tonight where we don’t make a lot of shots and if we get a few from Draymond it might put us over the top.”

Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 24 points and Domantas Sabonis dropped off 22 points and 16 rebounds to make that his 16th double-double of the season. Talk about consistency!!!!

Doug McDermott, who has made his way into the starting lineup, dropped off 15 points while Myles Turner finished with 14.

Indiana travels to Boston on Friday night.
