MINNEAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers are on a three game roll after going to Minnesota on Wednesday night and knocking off the Timberwolves 104-99. They were led by Domantas Sabonis’ season high 29 points. He added 13 rebounds for good measure. Ole boy did all of that on a sore left knee that he’s been nursing. Just think of what he could be doing if he were fully healthy.

Malcolm Brogdon dropped off a smooth 21 points in only his second game back from injury. Then the homie, Doug McDermott, came off of the bench and gave them 14. TJ Warren put 12 in the hat and 6 rebounds on his way to Big Momma’s house.

The Pacers were again consistent in their ability to move the ball on Wednesday night finishing with 27 assists. They shot the ball extremely well from the field at 51 percent. They weren’t so great from behind the arc at 31 percent but it was enough to get a win on the road.

After the game Nate McMillan had this to say about Sabonis, “He did a good job of attacking, and we did a good job of getting him the ball.”  I’d say they did.

It’s amazing how this team just finds the hot hand every night and takes advantage of it. There are no egos on the floor and that helps them win games.

Domantas had this to say while icing those knees after the big night, “I was just trying to be aggressive. T.J. (McConnell), Malcolm, everybody was doing a great job of finding me. I got some easy offensive rebounds.”

Up next the Timberwolves at the crib on Friday. That should be a good one.
