Disrespected Arizona put some Birdman “Respeck” on their name knocking off No.1 UConn! Aari McDonald hits them for 26!

I bet the NCAA won’t leave the Arizona Wildcats off of the promotional video for the national championship on Sunday. I bet that!! Earlier this week the Wildcats were completely disrespected when the NCAA posted a video promoting the Final four that only had UConn, South Carolina and Stanford on it. It wasn’t the Final Three playa. They were playing the Final FOUR this week and Arizona deserved to be there.

Arizona guard Aari McDonald, the leading scoring in the tournament, told reporters that she and her team took it as a sign of disrespect, went out and balled out. When the smoke finally cleared the Wildcats were jumpin’ back in the ride with the “W.” They totally dominated the No.1 team in the country with their stifling defense in a 69-59 win to advance to the program’s first ever national championship appearance. They’ll meet Pac-12 rival Stanford for all of the marbles on Sunday.

Arizona was so crazy on defense that it totally shook UConn to the point they actually admitted it.

In the post-game press conference UConn guard Christyn Williams said, “I think we came out with the wrong mentality. I thought we thought it was going to be easy, I guess, and we got flustered. They had great ball pressure. It wasn’t like anything that we’ve seen before this season. We just couldn’t get in the flow offensively.”

That’s why they play the game playa!! UConn thought they could literally throw their jerseys and sneakers out on the floor and they would win. The Wildcats from the desert weren’t intimidated at all by the thought of UConn coming down the hall. They put that thang on them and advanced with Aari McDonald was killin’ them with the left hand for 26 points. Yessir!!!! They’ve awakened the sleeping giant that I don’t think Stanford wants to even run up on. It should be a good one on Sunday. Stop me when I start lyin’!
