Derrick Rose’s career may have been resurrected by signin’ with Cleveland! “House Money”

Khaled Hosseini, the physician turned novelist, once said, “People find meaning and redemption in the most unusual human connections.” Brendon Fraser, the famous actor, broke it down like this, “I guess darkness serves a purpose: to show us that there is redemption through chaos. I believe in that. I think that’s the basis of Greek mythology.” Then Patti Smith, the singer and songwriter, poured out a lil’ liquor for all the dead homies when she spit, “Bringing good news is imparting hope to one’s fellow man. The idea of redemption is always good news, even if it means sacrifice or some difficult times.”

Well playas…the good news for Derrick Rose is that he gets out of a bad situation in New York and jumps right into a great situation in Cleveland!! A lot of boyz will say that it’s not so great in Cleveland because Kyrie is on his way out of the door but that’s why it’s so great for D. Rose!!!

They just agreed to a 1 year deal at the veteran’s minimum of $2.1 million! Why is that great for Rose bruh? Because the dun has an opportunity to start if he stays healthy and this opportunity has the potentially to resurrect his career. If he plays well with LeBron and gets to the Finals he could potentially sign a another lucrative deal next year the way boyz are givin’ bread away in free agency these days.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The dun’s only 28 years old but his reputation is that he can’t stay healthy. Therefore, he’s not reliable. Which has been true, so boyz haven’t been all that ready to give him a shot. Sure, the Lakers offered him an opportunity to help mold Lonzo but Lonzo was still goin’ to start. Ole boy wants to prove that he can still play not be the old head mentor at 28. Boyz out in LA want to put him in a pair of Hagar slacks and some diabetic shoes before he’s ready to concede and I completely understand.

Now that Kyrie has shot himself in the pinkie toe and wants out D. Rose has a chance to start playin’ with house money!! By playin’ with LeBron he doesn’t have to do as much as was required of him when he was in Chicago. Therefore, he can probably stay healthy and resurrect his career.

He had the best season shootin’ the rock since 2009-10  last year when he put up 18 points and 4.4 assists on 47.1 percent shootin’ in 64 games for the dysfunctional Knicks. Now he’s playin’ with the best player in the world that’s probably the most unselfish superstar we’ve seen since Magic. That’ll make a huge difference in his game “If” he can stay healthy.

Boyz are sittin’ in the cut askin’ the question this mornin’ as to how the Cavs were able to push the button on D. Rose so quickly after Kyrie’s trade demand became public? Well they’ve known about that foolishness for few weeks so they’ve been shoppin’ and literally found a good piece dirt cheap at Marshall’s bruh.

Think about it, D. Rose has the potential to get to the Finals next year after playin’ in New York. If LeBron can take Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith, two players that were literally about to be out of the league and go to the Finals, it looks great for D. Rose. Boyz want to forget that they both were traded to the Cavs for a second round pick in 2019. At the time of the trade the dun in question was in the eighth or ninth grade. Think about that bruh!! Those two are integral players on that team and were huge factors in their championship run a couple of years ago.

So please don’t ever tell me that LeBron doesn’t make the players around him better. He’s taken Cleveland to three straight Finals with Kyrie Irving who couldn’t win a gold fish in Cleveland before LeBron got there. There is hope for Derrick Rose playin’ with King James in Cleveland. So let’s sit in the cut and watch it play out.  Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
