Danica Patrick was more than rude to the media and now she’s part of the media? “Really Bruh?”

Former driver Danica Patrick is working for NBC covering the Indianapolis 500 this weekend.

SPEEDWAY, IN.  — Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle Bubba and cousin Diane are in Indianapolis this weekend for the 103rd running of Indianapolis 500. The Greatest Spectacle in Racing is about to take place on Sunday and the media is in the building full throttle. This is my third year covering this international event and I’m pumped about it! I’ve been covering the NBA and college football and basketball since 2010 so this is a fairly new experience for me and I LOVE IT!

As I’m strolling through the joint I look up on the monitor in the Media Center and the NBC feed is on and guess who’s on the screen? Danica Patrick!!! She’s doing the broadcast with the big homie Mike Tirico and I was blown away. Not because I thought that she was incapable of talking about the sport that she participated in for more than 13 years but because she had the worst attitude of any professional in sports while she was a driver.

Last year she drove in the Indianapolis 500 before crashing on 68th lap and she was a total, you fill in the blank, to every member of the media the entire month. I wrote a Crazy Hot Joint entitled “Good Riddance” after the race to tell the world how happy I was that she would no longer be terrorizing the media with her rudeness. I’ve never seen anything like it.

She was walking around like she was Rick Mears, A.J.Foyt, Al Unser, Dan Wheldon or Juan Pablo Montoya or somebody. You would have thought that she was Gottlieb Daimler, the guy that invented the precursor of what was to be the modern car engine the way she was talking to folks.

She was rude as all get out and hadn’t won but one race on the Indy Car circuit out of 116 races! The Indy Japan 300. That’s it. She didn’t win a single race on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series out of 191 races and not a single win on the NASCAR Xfinity Series out of 61 races but had the attitude of Caesar driving a Model T sitting on 24’s.

Now all of a sudden she’s a member of the media? How does that work? The very person that was rude as all out doors to the media is now part of the media? Now she’ll want drivers to actually talk to her and be nice? Really? I mean really bruh? Don’t be a jerk to us and then try to get into the car with us. I’m just sayin’! Stop me when I start lyin’!
