Colts new GM Chris Ballard gets an A+ for logical thinkin’ in draft!

Bruh...I told you that I had this! Photo: IndyStar

Now that the 2017 NFL Draft is over boyz can sit back and at least evaluate this foolishness from the surface. No one knows what these duns are goin’ to be until they become whatever they’re goin’ to become. However, we can, at the very least, see if a boy was thinkin’ logically when they pushed the buttons to take a player.

For example, Chicago was the same ole Chicago when they gave away the farm, Big Momma’s girdle an pant suits to move up to get QB Mitchell Trubisky at No.2 when there were better players at that position sittin’ on the draft board. You figured if they were goin’ to give away Big Momma’s favorite underwear they would have at least gotten something that made since. They drafted a cat that nobody but North Carolina fans had ever heard of and they only saw the dun play 13 total games. That’s the foolishness that you don’t want your team to do right out of the gate at the draft.

So let’s focus on the Indianapolis Colts since that’s where my money is generated playa. All boyz wanted new GM Chris Ballard to do was to look like a sane individual when he started pickin’ boyz. The Colts had a total of 8 draft picks and they picked 6 defensive players. Smart move playboy! That makes all of the sense in the world. Their defense was atrocious last season finishin’ at 27th in the league. So wouldn’t it make sense to draft heavily on the defensive side of the ball?

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Chris Ballard gets an A+ for logical thinkin’ in his first draft with the Colts. You can’t give the dun an A+ for the talent that he chose because it’ll be three years before we even know if the cats he hired will work out at all.

Let’s look at who they drafted. They took swooped up safety Malik Hooker out of Ohio State with their first pick at No.15. Then on to the second round they got CB Quincy Wilson from Florida. In the third round defensive end Tarell Basham was waitin’ to eat some of Big Momma’s cookin’.

In the fourth round they had three picks!! They locked down offensive tackle Zach Banner from USC! Smart move again because Andrew Luck has been runnin’ for his life for the past two seasons. Then they grabbed RB Marlon Mack out of South Florida. Okay, I’m not trippin’ yet because a young horse at a cheap price isn’t that big of a gamble. But Ballard was on the edge with two straight offensive players.

Then he redeemed himself in the 5th round by takin’ CB Nate Hairston from Temple and then ILB Anthony Walker Jr. from Northwestern.

From a surface area view ole Chris Ballard made great decisions with this 2017 draft from a position and need standpoint. Because again, we won’t know how these cats will pan out until about 2020. At least boyz won’t be blastin’ the Colts for draftin’ like they’ve been smokin’ with Wiz Khalifa and Snoop. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!
