Rudolph Carnap, the German philosopher, once said, “Logic is the last scientific ingredient of Philosophy; its extraction leaves behind only a confusion of non-scientific, pseudo problems.” Leonard Nimoy, the famous actor, gave it to us like this, “Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end.” Then Dale Carnegie, the writer and lecturer of self-improvement, took a boyz Jordan’s off of his feet on the way to school when he spit, “When dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic, but creatures of emotion.”
Well playas…I see that everybody and their baby’s momma are singin’ Andrew Luck’s praises this mornin’ for puttin’ in work down in Tennessee on Sunday. He finished with 353 yards, threw 3 touchdown passes and had a quarterback rating of 123 as he led the Colts to a 34-26 win over the dull Titans. However, these are all of the same duns that have been callin’ him overrated all season long.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! He put up crazy numbers because he wasn’t runnin’ for his life all day bruh. He was only sacked twice instead of 146 times like he normally is. He can make better decisions with the ball in his hands when he’s got time to think through progressions etc.
It blows my mind that people that call themselves football fans don’t know the freakin’ game. In their minds if a boy is bein’ paid $140 million and becomes the highest paid player in the league that the game suddenly is supposed to change and the fundementals of it will lean towards the dun makin’ the most money. So if Luck has all of the bread then he’s supposed to put up sick numbers every night even if he’s not bein’ protected. How much sense does that make bruh?
Let me put it where the goats can get it. Apply that same logic in the middle of the freakin’ ghetto. I go out and buy a freakin’ Bugatti and park it in the middle of Delaney Projects in Gary, Indiana and leave the doors open with the keys on the seat. How long is that joint goin’ to sit there before it’s gone? Naw, take that back! I simply drive the Bugatti past the projects in The G. Naw, take that back! I drive the Bugatti near the city limits. How long before some fool pulls me out of it? Just because I paid $2 million for it doesn’t make it un-stealable or un-jackable, if those are even words.
Payin’ Andrew Luck sick money doesn’t make him immortal. He still has to be protected in order for him to make plays and deliver the football to the duns runnin’ routes. So before you start hollerin’ about how overrated he his, watch the darn games and apply some logic to your foolishness. Stop me when I start lyin’!
1) Spit: verb – to say
2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.
3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
