Clemson beats Ohio State in a Battle Royale for the Ages 29-23!!! “Booted Up”

Everybody and their baby’s momma wanted to see how the Clemson Tigers would react once they got hit in the mouth because they hadn’t played anybody all season long. By the time the smoke cleared Clemson was walking out of the joint with a 29-23 win and on it’s way to the National Championship to meet LSU.

Well playas…it didn’t take long to find out what the Tigers were made of. Ohio State jumped out of the Big Body Chevy with the quickness and put 16 points on the board.

Clemson was down 16-0 before I could bite into my hot dog good. Dabo and Co. hadn’t been in an adverse situation all season playing in the ACC. As a matter of fact, they hadn’t been hit in the mouth and pushed up against the ropes in two years.

Would they fall apart or rise up to the occasion? Well playas…the defending national champs booted up and scored 21 unanswered points just to let a boy know who they were. Heading into the fourth quarter they were up 21-16 with their gangsta brims tilted to the side.

With 11:46 left to play Ohio State’s Justin Field hit Chris Olave on a 23 yard touchdown pass to put the Buckeyes up 23-21. We had a ball game on our hands playa.

Trip? No trip!! Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence hadn’t lost a ball game since he was in high school playa. Ole boy marched the Tigers down the field like he was Joe “freakin'” Montana with Jerry Rice in his prime. With 1:18 left he hit Travis Etienne on a 34 yard touchdown pass to go up 29-23.

Ohio State wasn’t finished though. Justin Fields had these boys on his back marching like Jackson State’s Sonic Boom of the South. Then with 37 seconds left to play Fields throws a dime on a timing pattern right, his receiver went left and LSU’s Nolan Turner intercepted it. Ball Game!!!

One of the greatest Playoff games we’ve ever seen. Shoot that tape over to Oklahoma so that they can see what being prepared to play in a game like this looks like. Both Ohio State and Clemson were prepared for battle and everybody got their money and time worth while watching it. I could watch it again.  The national title should be all of that and a bag of chips. Stop me when I start lyin’!
