Celtics Advance as Raptors VanVleet dribbles the air out of the ball to throw up some foolishness! “Best TEAM Advances”

THE BUBBLE — It’s rare, almost impossible, that the best team doesn’t win a best of 7 series. The only other time it’s not happened was when the Philistine (LeBron) put the Cleveland Cavaliers on his back to beat the 73-9 Golden State Warriors after being down 3-1. He led both teams in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Outside of that, the best team ALWAYS wins the best of 7 series.

Friday night was no exception. The Boston Celtics advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals with a Game 7 win over the defending NBA champs 92-87. Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! They tried to trick it off several times during the series but they were the best team.

So as hard as they tried to trick it off they still had help down the stretch by Toronto in fulfilling the goal. With less than 10 seconds to play and down 3 points the Raptors’ Fred VanVleet literally dribbled the air out of the ball and threw up a jumper that he knew was bad before he even decided to launch it.

I’m not even a Raptors fan and I wanted to run out on the floor and snatch the ball out of his hand. You knew it was about to be bad when he kept dribbling.

Kyle Lowry looked at that dun like, “Bruh! Did you really just throw everything we’ve worked for away with that shot attempt? Really bruh?”

The Celtics now advance to Eastern Conference Finals as the defending champs head to the crib thinking about that dull shot VanVleet put up.

Now granted, it doesn’t come down to just the silly shot of VanVleet because they did dig themselves a hole going down 2-0 to start the series but again, the best team won. The young guns in Boston did work throughout the series led by cats like Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown.

Now it’s on to face the Miami Heat who has been playing lights out this playoff run led by Jimmy Butler. This should be a good one. No home court advantage for either team and the young guns are hungry on both teams. In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t Wait!”
