Well playas…it’s all bottle necking at the top and only the strong will survive this weekend. It’s the Class 6A Semi-State round and the No.2 Carmel Greyhounds have to load up and travel up to No.4 Valparaiso. Both teams have had excellent seasons with identical 10-2 records but something’s gotta give.

I know that boyz keep telling me that Valpo’s got that fire and they’re beating the brakes off of cats up their way but they haven’t run into a problem like the Carmel Greyhounds! They’ve got the best defense in the state playboy and it’s not a game. That’s why I call it “THE BEAST!” They’re only giving up 16 points per game and they play in the best conference in the state! Unless you’ve been under a rock it’s called The M.I.C. and it doesn’t get any better than that. The other two teams in the Class 6A Semi-State are reppin’ the M.I.C. I told you that it wasn’t a game.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It’s about to be a problem up in the Region with these Carmel Boyz rollin’ into town. They’ve never seen this type of defense. Coach John Hebert and Co. have done an excellent job with this team and they play for each other for four solid quarters.

I’ve said all season long that they’re probably the most disciplined team out here. They make very few mistakes and they tackle extremely well on defense. It’s 6 or 7 hats to the ball on every play. With guys like Nate Frey, Joey Schmidt, Beau Robbins and Cole Brevard showing up to work every week it’s darn near impossible for offenses to move the ball. Yep, I’m seeing an all M.I.C. state title game next week. Carmel is in too deep like Snoop and Dr. Dre’ on this one bruh. Deep Cover!! They’re kickin’ the door in like the Feds and going through all of the drawers because they’re taking what belongs to them. The Semi-State.

They’ve put in way too much work not to handle their business at Valpo. So it’s Chris Brown up in that piece, “On and Poppin’!” Good luck lil’/big homies and bring the Semi-State back to Central Indiana so we can get hyped for another All-M.I.C. State Title game next week. Stop me when I start lyin’!
