BREAKING: Pacers sign Myles Turner to a 4-year extension worth $72 million that could reach as much as $80 million with bonuses!

In his Jay-Z voice, "Momma I made it!" Myles Turner gets the bag in Indy on Monday! Congrats lil'/big homie!!

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. — Just two days before the 2018-19 NBA season kicks off Pacers center Myles Turner agrees to a 4-year extension with the Indiana Pacers worth $72 million. It could go up to as much as $80 million if he hits a certain amount of incentives. Talk about a young thunder cat gettin’ paid.

Myles is only 22 years old but he’s about to embark on his fourth season in the NBA. Monday was the deadline for players in the 2015 draft class to sign their extensions. Otherwise, they would become unrestricted free agents in July. That’s means that their current teams could match any offer sheet presented by other teams. Myles took care of his business on Monday so now he can concentrate on hooping this season and not worrying about questions that have nothing to do with basketball.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Getting the extension signed, sealed and delivered means that Myles is a big part of what the Pacers want to do going forward.

On Wednesday they tip things off against the Memphis Grizzles and it should be a fun season to watch. In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t Wait!!!” Stop me when I stop lyin’!
