Boyz aren’t trippin’ over Purdue’s losses this year because of the upside next year! “Can’t Wait!!”

WEST LAFAYETTE — When you’re watching the Purdue Boilermakers for the rest of the season. Don’t pay too much attention to the wins and losses. Pay attention to potential of how good they’re going to be next year. I know that that sounds crazy to some but they’ve got one of the best upsides I’ve seen a Purdue team have in decades, if not EVER.

First of all, they’ve got an All-American sitting on the sidelines injured in Rondale Moore. He’s just a sophomore and will be ready to go. Then they’ve got some dynamic freshmen that will make you slap your momma for talking crazy about them.

Jack Plummer at quarterback is only going to get better and he looks good right now. On Saturday in a loss at Iowa 26-20 he went 30/50 for 327 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception. Did I mention that they were on the road and that he’s a freshman? Okay just making sure. After taking over at quarterback he’s thrown for a total of 1,292 yards 9 TD’s and 5 interceptions.

Then they’re the lil’/big homie David Bell from the FAR EAST SIDE of Indy that’s a true freshman at the other wide receiver position that’s going NUTS on boyz right now. Ole boy finished the day at Iowa with 13 catches for 197 yards and a touchdown. He had 86 yards receiving at the break!!! Last week he dropped 138 yards on 9 catches against Maryland and in Week 2 he put up 114 yards against Minnesota on just 8 catches.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The offense alone is going to be NUTS with those three coming back for the 2020 season. It’ll be fireworks every week.

So I know that most Boilermaker fans can sit through this season’s losses understanding just how good their going to be next year. In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t Wait!!” Stop me when I start lyin’!
