INDIANAPOLIS, IN– The city was a complete buzz all Friday afternoon in anticipation of Game 3 at Bankers Life Fieldhous between the Cavs and Pacers. Both teams pulled up in the Big Body Chevy and went at it goin’ blow for blow. The Cavs threw everything at the Pacers but Big Momma’s patent leather purse and junior’s hard bottom shoes. When the smoke cleared the Pacers walked outta the joint with a 92-90 win and up 2-1 in the series. Bojan Bogdanovic went ham leadin’ the Blue and Gold with 30 points!

At the first TV timeout at the 5:23 mark of the first quarter the Cavs were up 17-15 with LeBron handlin’ the rock at darn near every possession. However, George Hill was scorin’ like crazy with 9 points up to that point. At the end of the first period the Cavs were up 31-20 shootin’ the darn lights outta the gym at 64 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the arc.

The Pacers were turnin’ the rock over like crazy with 7 in the first quarter alone. They finished the game with 17 total and won the darn game. Can you believe that?

Indiana goes on a 5-0 run to start the second quarter before the Cavs respond. LeBron was able to sit the first 6 minutes of the second quarter without the water fillin’ up in the boat. They were able to keep the Pacers at bay by 10 points. Whatever he told those duns after Game 2 must have worked because he appeared to be gettin’ some help.

The Cavs were trappin’ everything the Pacers attempted to do in the first half even keepin’ Victor Oladipo in check. Ole boy had only had 5 points on 4 shot attempts at the break down by 17 points. It looked like Cleveland was about to run away with this one.

The series was all knotted up at one apiece with LeBron and Co. bleedin’ from the mouth comin’ in and now the Pacers were gettin’ blasted by 17 at the break. Talk about takin’ sneakers and jewelry off of a boy. What!!?

That’s when the Bojan Bogdanovic Show kicked in playboy! Not only was he defendin’ LeBron and takin’ the best player on the planet’s best shot he was scorin’ on the other end of the floor to keep the Pacers close enough to hit pay dirt at the 6:10 mark of the fourth quarter when they took the lead 80-77 off of his three.

The resiliency of this Pacers team is NUTS!!! Not only did Bojan come through but Vitcor Oladipo finished with 18 points as Thaddeus Young dropped off 12 for good measure.

The big homie Lance “The Don Dada” continued his mission to aggravate LeBron which is great for TV any day of the week. He’s not at all intimidated by playin’ against the best player in the world and the fans love it.

LeBron led the Cavs with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists followed by Kevin Love’s 19 points and George Hill finished with 19.

I asked LeBron what positives he can takes from this ball game bein’ up until the 6:10 mark and this was his response:

Now it’s on to Sunday and Game 4. I’m quite sure the crowd is goin’ to be NUTS just like it was for Game 3! Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
