INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers walked into Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday night desperate for a win after losing their last three out of four games. It was put up or shut up for the Blue and Gold as Bojan Bogdanovic and Darren Collison led the way. Boggy dropped off 27 points and Collison had 22 in their 105-96 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Speaking with Collison after the game he had this to say, “Every game since the All-Star break has been close and I just think it’s going to help us out during the playoffs. We’ve got to figure out a way to execute because in the playoffs, it’s going to be like that.”

The Pacers played their fourth consecutive game without Domantas Sabonis who is out with a sprained left ankle. So it was necessary that they played well on Tuesday night. Since returning from the All-Star break they haven’t played the great defense that they were accustomed to playing before the break.

They’d given up 110 points or more in six consecutive games. Therefore, holding the Bulls to 96 points was a confidence builder going into these next 11 games where defense will be mandatory. During this upcoming stretch they’ve got Oklahoma City and Denver twice each and they visit Milwaukee, Golden State and Boston. That’s nuts!!!

Up next the Greek Freak and Co. on Thursday.
