Ben Davis’ tradition and conference experience gives them the edge against Avon! “Battled Tested”

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. — In 2017 Ben Davis showed up with the best high school football team I’d ever seen. Now boyz on the FAR EAST SIDE will argue me to the death that the 2006 version of the Warren Central Warriors were better but it’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.

Ben Davis had 52 seniors a year ago with studs all over the field. They literally beat the brakes off of everybody that got off of the bus and came through the windows of everybody they visited. Penn made the God awful mistake of showin’ up to the Class 6A state title game with intentions of actually winnin’ that game. I mean they really thought that they were good enough to show up.

Within minutes of walkin’ onto the field they figured out that they needed Warren Central to replace them to even make the game competitive. When the smoke cleared they’d gotten drug up snd down the field 63-14 and were lickin’ their wounds all the way back to northern Indiana.

Fast forward to Week 2 of the 2018 season. The Giants have a brand new head coach in Jason Simmons and they’re on a 15 game winnin’ streak after destroyin’ Indianapolis Tech last week at the crib 51-6. Running back Delbert Mimms (Vanderbilt recruit) leads them into battle with Avon on Friday night.

This will be a HUGE test for the Giants because Avon is loaded. They’ve got D1 prospects all over the field and they’re led by running back Sampson James (Ohio State recruit).

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If you can’t make it down to Louisville this Friday to see Warren Central take on Trinity on ESPNU this is the game to see. There should be fireworks all night on the west side of Indy.

Even though everybody and their baby’s momma is singin’ Avon’s praises I can’t bet against Ben Davis. Naw playa, and not because they’re the defendin’ Class 6A State Champs but because they play in the M.I.C and they’ve traditionally been one of the best teams in the conference. I can’t bet against them because they play better competition week in and week out all season long. Did I forget to mention that they’ve got 9 state titles and a national title hangin’ up to remind then of who they are? Well I just just did playboy.

So even though they’re very inexperienced they’ve practiced against a collection of some of the best high school football players the state of Indiana has ever seen last year and they’ve got tradition in their pockets. That’s gotta count for somethin’ right?

So I’m ridin’ with the Giants to win this ball game on Friday night! Make sure you check out “The HILARIOUS M.I.C. Football Preview: Week 2!” Let’s Go and stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

3) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
