Bears defense was NUTS but the offense was pedestrian in win over Seattle! “But Boyz will take it!”

CHICAGO, ILL. — On the biggest stage in NFL the Chicago Bears defense showed up and showed out like Big Momma would say. Led by Danny Trevathan with 8 tackles they reeked havoc on the Seattle offense in a thrilling 24-17 win at Soldier Field.

They did the same thing they did up in Green Bay last week except that they did it for 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes. After blowing a 20 point lead in Lambeau on Sunday Night Football a week ago. Boyz huddled up and made sure that didn’t happen again.

The Bears D sacked Russell Wilson six times on the night with five of them coming in the first half. Khalil Mack was responsible for one of those. Ole boy is a monster that sets the tone for that defense. He’s doing in the first two ball games what everybody and their baby’s momma knew he could do and that’s putting pressure on the quarterback. He’s NUTS but he’s still not worth $141 million when the offense is still pedestrian. I’m just sayin’…

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Bears defense is crazy but in order for them to have the success as a team that they’re looking for against better opponents, that offense has to wake up. They scored 17 points through three and a half quarters until Prince Amukamara’s 49 yard pick six to put the dagger into the Seahawks.

That’s a lot of pressure having to hold teams to 10 or 15 points in order to win games all season. There are teams that will be able to score far more points down the schedule. Ole Mitch Trubisky and Co. will have to step their games up in order for Chicago to stay on the winning side of things. Going 25/34 for 200 yards and averaging 5.9 yards per pass throwing 2 touchdowns and 2 dull picks doesn’t win games against better teams.

Please don’t compare the Bears offense with Seattle’s  because their’s was even worse. Now boyz will take the win because that’s what they came to do but that offense has to get better if they want to make the playoffs. Keep in mind that it’s a long season. So it’s one game at a time. Stop me when I start lyin’!
