AVON, IN. — The Indiana Hoosiers stayed on the hunt and landed one of the biggest fish in the state on Sunday. The No.3 recruit in the state Avon running back and four-star recruit, Sampson James, who was initially committed to The Ohio State University, de-committed on Sunday. Two hours later James announced on Twitter that he was committing to the Hoosiers!!

That’s HUGE for Indiana Football because they’ve already got Carmel’s DE Beau Robbins and Decatur Central’s DB Larry Tracy ready to head to Bloomington. Warren Central’s Incomparable David Bell hasn’t ruled them out yet either. He’s listed as the No.2 recruit in the state behind West Lafayette lineman George Karlaftis, who’s  committed to Purdue. On some real talk David Bell is probably the best wide receiver in the country while you’re playing. Top 5 on his list are IU, Purdue, Iowa, Ohio State and Penn State.

Ole Tom Allen and Co. are down there taking care of business in B-Town!! They’ve jumped out of the gate 4-2 this season looking to go bowling again this year. Last year they signed Mr. Football, Reese Taylor, out of Ben Davis who is making a significant contribution to the Hoosiers’ offense this year in the slot. It’s cool that the home teams both Purdue and IU are starting to hold on to some of the elite talent in the state. Once the train starts rolling more kids will consider staying home or Kizzy which means to stay put. This state is full of talent and there’s no reason our institutions shouldn’t benefit from having them stick around so that Big Momma can see them every week. Good luck Young Thunder Cat and keep grindin’! Stop me when I start lyin’!
