CHICAGO — The Chicago Bears jumped all over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday beating the brakes off of them 48-10. Everybody and their baby’s momma sent me the same message. “Still think Khalil Mack isn’t worth the money?” After about a dozen of those same messages I had to go back and make sure that I saw what I just saw.
Did Khalil Mack go 19 of 26 for 354 yards and throw 6 touchdowns Sunday or was it Mitch Trubisky? Did Khalil play an ounce of offense on Sunday? Was he the dun that finished one touchdown short of the franchise record set by Sid Luckman in 1943 against the New York Giants? Did he change positions before the game to help the offense put up 483 yards just shy of the 488 which is the franchise record? Am I crazy?
Absolutely not!!! The dun played his position like he’s done for the past four seasons in the NFL. He’s one of the top 3 pass rushers in the league just like he’s always been. He balled out like he does every night. The dun had a strip sack in the first half against Fitzpatrick making him the first player with a sack and forced fumble in four straight games since Robert Mathis for the Colts in 2005. He balled out like he always does!!! He proved that he’s probably the best defensive player in the league this year through four games. Facts!!! But let me be clear, 4 tackles doesn’t create 48 points. Stop with this foolishness!!!
Was he responsible for 48 points and the 38 they put up by half time? Absolutely not!!! Every headline on Sunday evening was talking about Khalil Mack when Mitch Trubisky showed like my momma used to say, “His bare bottom” out there on Sunday!! He did what very few quarterbacks have ever done in the history of the league in a real football game. Don’t give his credit to Khalil Mack this morning. You sound crazy!!!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Bears defense played exceptionally well and gave up only 10 points. However, they won by 38 bruh!!! It wouldn’t have mattered what Khalil Mack did on Sunday they were going to win that game. Elmer Fudd could have played in his place. They put up 483 yards of total offense and Trubisky threw 6 touchdowns. Stop with this foolishness!! Khalil Mack could have stayed home and they would have blasted Tampa.
Bears fans are acting like it was a defensive battle and they won 10-6 with Khalil Mack scoring the winning touchdown off of a pick 6 and he kicked the darn field goal after making every tackle in the darn game. He still plays one position that’s not worth the Bears paying $141 million for with $90 million GUARANTEED. Take him off of the field Sunday and they still win by 38 points. Take Trubisky off of the field that and they don’t win at all. That’s the value I’m talking about playa. Stop me when I start lyin’!
