When it’s bad it’s bad but when the ship is going down it’s absolutely the worst! On Thursday evening the Indiana Hoosiers rolled up to West Lafayette to play their biggest rival, the Purdue Boilermakers, and it was hard to watch.
When the smoke cleared the Boilermakers walked out of Mackey Arena with a 57-49 win and most people had a headache from trying to sit there and watch this foolishness. Sure, the Purdue fans were happy about beating IU for the freakin’ seventh straight time but everybody needed a drink afterwards. Talk about some terrible basketball!!! OMG!!!
But the worst of it all was on the IU sideline as Archie Miller and his assistant coach Bruiser Flint got into an argument that I thought was going to clear the joint. They were literally butt naked and foamin’ at the mouth mad at each other. Like pass out mad bruh!!
Neither of these cats were listening the other and both thought they were 1000 percent right. It was hilarious if you were a Purdue fan or just an innocent bystander watching this foolishness but IU fans were cringing.
It’s a mess in Bloomington and boyz thought that they were turning the corner heading into the Big Ten Tournament in a couple of weeks. They’d just won two straight including a huge win over then No.16 Penn State. Then they show up to Purdue and get drug by a 14-loss team that at times doesn’t know whether they’re coming or going.
Purdue’s been a dumpster fire this year and IU can’t even hold them off. It’s terrible. The argument on the sideline between Miller and Flint was your neighbors finally standing in the driveway cursing each other out. You had an idea that things weren’t the best but now you know that it’s far worse than you thought. At some point they’ll be throwing each other’s clothes out of the window. Stop me when I start lyin’!
