Andrew Wiggins disrespects the gay community and does it again trying to apologize! “Say WHAT!!?”

While covering some of these cats in the NBA I’m often blown away at how immature and flat out ignorant many of them can be. A dun will turn around at his locker, see 15 to 20 people standing their with microphones and cameras in his face and still say something crazy.

Well playas…on Tuesday night after the Timberwolves beat the Thunder 119-117 Andrew Wiggins called OKC’s Dennis Schroder “gay” in a very disrespectful way then tried to say that he meant no disrespect while continuing to disrespect the LGBTQ community in the apology.

He says while talking about Schroder, “I don’t know what’s wrong with him. Uh, he was just gay. He was acting crazy for no reason. I look right through him. He’s not someone I look at as a problem. Not at all.”

Then hours after the video surfaced he takes to Twitter to try to clean it up but he called gay folks crazy. Like being gay is to be crazy.

He follows that tweet up with this foolishness:

Uh…you just did playa. Where’s the PR director for Minnesota bruh? When you’ve got cats that are liable to say anything you’ve got to have someone standing right next to them every time they speak with the media to keep them out of trouble.

There were several dust ups during the game between Thunder and Timberwolves players where Jeff Teague eventually got ejected and Schroder picked up a technical foul as well. However, there was not reason to dive off of the deep end and use that type of language.

I can remember during the early years of Lance Stephenson playing for the Pacers when he was fresh out of the University of Cincinnati and he was to some degree out of control. Whenever he spoke with the media the Pacers PR director David Benner was literally in his pocket making sure that he didn’t say anything crazy that would get him into trouble.

C’mon Andrew Wiggins!!! You’ve got to do better.!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
