BATON ROUGE — Alabama has been completely destroying everything on their schedule this year. We all know that they are a great football team because they’ve got great players and they’re lined up to go to Tuscaloosa every year. So there isn’t ever a question of how good they are. They rolled into Baton Rouge on Saturday night and walked out with a shut out 29-0 of the “No.3 ranked team in America.” So we know that they’re good!!
I put quotations around LSU’s ranking because even though they’re good they had no business being ranked No.3 in the first place. They’d already loss to a two loss Florida squad and Notre Dame is still undefeated and Michigan’s only loss was to the Fightin’ Irish. So miss me with that No.3 ranking.That was a hustle move that only folks trained to recognize a hustle caught on last Tuesday.
However, my point today is this. We finally got to see Alabama play a real football game for the first time all season and they literally looked human. They didn’t put up 54 points like they’ve been doing every week. We finally saw Tua Tagovailoa finally throw an interception, get banged up and have to play all four quarters.
They were held to 16 points in the first half and there were a few other cats hauled off of the field with injuries in Bama uniforms. Again, they beat the brakes off of LSU but they looked human and it would be interesting to see how well they would play next week if they actually played a real football team two weeks in row. However, we won’t see that.
My problem is not with Bama being better than everybody else. My problem is with the game they’re running that the media is watching but won’t say anything about it. They’ve all watched Bama NEVER leave the south to play a non-conference game. When they do play a legitimate team to kick the season off they always play them on a neutral field down the street in Atlanta or in Dallas. We NEVER see them doing what other major blue bloods like Oklahoma or Ohio State do and play true home and away schedules with non-conference Power 5 schools. Then they pay Boo-Boo State to come to Tuscaloosa the rest of the non-conference schedule.
In Week 5 when everyone else (ranked teams) was playing conference opponents they were taking a smoke break and playing Louisiana Lafayette. They took another smoke break (bye) the week before the LSU game and the week before the infamous Iron Bowl (Auburn) they take another smoke break to play The Citadel.
How good would Alabama be week in and week out if they actually did what everybody else does with their schedule? They only have two legit games on their schedule every year. That’s LSU and Auburn. There’s nothing else on the schedule bruh and PLEASE don’t tell me that they play in the SEC because they’re in the WEST!! That means that they’ve got Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss State and Tennessee and we all know they they aren’t worth two dead flies smash in terms of competition.
If Michigan started the season off at Ford Field in Detroit or in Cleveland against big name, then played Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Kent State and in Week 5 played Indiana State. Then took a smoke break the week before the Ohio State game and played somebody like Akron EVERY year you would call them a fraud. However, NOBODY questions what Bama is doing every year to navigate the Playoff situation. Sure, they win when they get to the playoff because they’re healthy because they’ve got no attrition and they’ve got depth. Most teams are banged up by December because they’ve played for their playoff lives all season. Bama doesn’t have that problem in December.
If they simply played games where they had to play all four quarters and the natural attrition of the season began to wear on them would they be perfect going into the SEC title game every year? I’m not mad at Bama for pulling a heist on boyz. I’m made a these media-types for seeing them pull the heist and not reporting it. They’re gong to keep robbing college football as long as nobody questions what they’re doing. Stop me when I start lyin’!
Notre Dame need to quit playing the same teams they’ve played for the last hundred years they play Nobody and then you get people posing as Sports reporters who are really only trying to be entertainers acting like they know what they talk about in the SEC Notre Dame goes 500 or less Bama playing a soft Schedule C you don’t have to know what you’re talkin about to be a sports reporter nowadays you’re not making the sport better you’re ruining it say something that’s actually true and stop lying
and the fact that Michigan was the first game of the season who else has Notre Dame beat oh scary Northwestern the SEC has put the defense in football give it the respect it deserves and quit crying for Notre Dame what was that score last time they got to play Alabama
let’s see wasn’t a Ball State team that almost beat Notre Dame at home and you dare two question Alabama schedule as compared to Notre Dame’s it may sound like an excuse but I don’t believe it all Michigan is the team they are now when they played Notre Dame the first game of the season the first it gets so old listening to you Notre Dame fans wanting to reclaim Your Glory Alabama deserves who they are Notre Dame has not proven themselves and guess what they won’t
