Why the Falcons are DEAD Right about NOT giving Julio Jones a new deal! “Kick Rocks”

Julio Jones is refusing to report to Falcons training camp on Thursday because he wants his contract reworked. Now here’s the kicker bruh…he just signed a five-year, $71 million contract in 2015! It included a $12 million signing bonus and $47 million guaranteed. His base salary this season is $10.5 million.

The dun is upset that he’s not making the type of bread that other wide receivers are making right now. There are eight cats in the league making more money than he is this season so he wants a new deal. What!!!?

The Falcons owner, Arthur Blank, is like, he can kick rocks with that foolishness. Ole boy told The Athletic that he does not plan to get involved in negotiations over Jones’ contract at this time.

He went on to say, “I have full faith in TD [general manager Thomas Dimitroff] and DQ [coach Dan Quinn] to handle this in the best manner that is feasible for us. We love Julio, and I have said our wishes are that he be a Falcon for life. As always, I am available to our staff as needed and at appropriate times.”

Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I’m with ole Arthur on this one playa. They just signed him to a 5-year deal and agreed to $47 million in guarantees!! He’s already collected the $12 million signing bonus. C’mon bruh! You’re playing dirty pool.

Just because other cats have gotten paid after he’s signed his deal doesn’t make his deal bad. He agreed to what they offered him in 2015. He’s got to play out the contract. He can’t go back now and say that the deal isn’t good enough when he’s got three years left on it. That’s crazy!

The Falcons have told he that if he didn’t show up to camp they were going to hit him up for 40 racks per day everyday he isn’t in camp. That’s a lot of bread to be throwing away because you’re on a temper tantrum because you think that you should be keeping up with “Joneses.”

This is the foolishness that drives me crazy about some of these pro athletes. They sign a deal and then when somebody else signs a better deal they want a new one because they believe the dun that got more bread than they did isn’t as good. This has nothing to do with who’s better bruh. It has everything to do with who has more leverage to get more or who has the better agent.

Now I get that he wants to get his bag ASAP because football is a violent sport but the Falcons gave him what he’s already agreed to. And with the numbers that dun put up last year, I wouldn’t rework a darn thing for him. I’d tell ole boy to kick rocks, give up that 40 racks a day or get yo butt into training camp on Thursday. Take it or leave it. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
