INDIANAPOLIS — It’s mind blowing to know that the Indianapolis Colts are going to be playing this Saturday in the Wild Card game in Houston. Mind blowing is literally an understatement. When I think back to where they were after 6 weeks of football with a record of 1-5 to be in the playoffs finishing just behind the Texans in the AFC South at 10-6? No way!!!

Now they’ve got a shot at not only playing on Saturday but winning at Houston. Sure, DeShawn Watson and Co. won the division and finished 11-5 but the Colts are more than capable of going down there and beating them with the way they’re playing right now.

Indianapolis took an “L” against them in Week 4 at home losing by only 3 points when they were on the struggle bus early in the season. Then after they picked up some confidence down at Big Daddy’s Convenience Store in the hood they eased on down the road like Dorothy in Week 13 and beat the Texans in Houston by 3.

So it’s not like the Colts are just satisfied with getting to the playoffs like it’ll be a one and done type situation. They’re actually looking to win that joint.

Andrew Luck is now being protected better than any other quarterback in the NFL. The Colts gave up the most sacks in the league in 2017 with 56 and in 2018 gave up the least amount with 18. That’s become a problem for NFL defenses!! Giving Andrew Luck the time and confidence to throw the football is everybody’s problem especially Houston’s on Saturday.

Luck has thrown for 4,593 yards and 39 touchdowns giving boyz the blues down the stretch. His No.1 target has been T.Y. Hilton finishing the regular season with 1,270 yards and 6 touchdowns on 76 catches. What more can we say about Marlon Mack this season? Wow!! The Colts have a player that is sitting on the cusp of rushing for 1,000 yards. He’s got 908 going into this Wild Card weekend.

Don’t even get me started on Darius Leonard banging boz up with 163 tackles!!! What he’s been able to do out here in these NFL streets is NUTS!!! Yep, they’ve go the confidence and swag to get it done this weekend.

In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t Wait!!” for Saturday to hurry up and get here.
