Now I have no idea if ole boy is interested in the job or not but it makes no ABSOLUTELY NO sense for him to leave UCLA to go to IU.
He’s coachin’ at UCLA bruh!!! AND HE’S WINNIN’!!! He’s got his boyz in the Sweet Sixteen with a Top 3 draft pick on his roster lightin’ it up!! That’s a recruitin’ tool in and of itself. Kids are knockin’ the door down to get to UCLA right now bruh.
He’s already signed Ball’s little brother and he’s already got a commitment from their youngest brother which will be there in two years. The best player in the state of Indiana his on his way next season as well. Why would he leave that cupboard full and dip from an already historically relevant program when he’s the reason they are relevant again.
He’s in Southern California livin’ the good life as a celebrity among celebrities coachin’ at one of the most historic programs in college basketball history. Did I mention that they were rollin’? Yeah, they’re rollin’!!!!!
IU is in the toilet right now and their administration puts the clamps on how and who he can recruit. At best it’ll take him 3 years just to get his caliber of players in the door and that’s ONLY if IU gives him the freedom to do it his way.
So why would he leave UCLA again? To coach IU? And it’s a has been program that think it’s still in the top 10.
