Why Kaepernick doesn’t really want to play football: He wants to make a difference! “Anything”

Dr.  Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “A man can’t ride your back unless it’s bent.” The the big homie Peter Marshall, the Scottish clergyman, broke it down like this, “Give to us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for – because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.”

Well playas…most people judgin’ Colin Kaepernick today don’t have a clear vision of what he’s literally tryin’ to do and it’s not to play football. If he wanted to simply play the stupid game that has paid him millions over the course of his career he’d still be playin’. He’s a lot smarter than you think that he is. However, it’s about openin’ people’s eyes to ills of police brutality, racism and social injustice. Only the short sighted and ignorant can’t get pass the act of the protest. There’s always a reason behind a protest.

Earlier this week the Seattle Seahawks scheduled a trip for Kaepernick to workout for them but team officials postponed it because ole boy declined to say whether or not he would continue to take a knee durin’ the national anthem.

Now most fans that have never experienced police brutality, racial or social injustice are upset with him because he won’t let it go. The NFL would like more than anything for the protests to go away because in their minds it’s bad for business. Just like Pappa John’s said last year before his ignorant statement cost his company millions.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It’s a shame that teams will sign players and fans will embrace those that take away from society by brakin’ laws. They won’t hesitate to love players that are hooked on drugs, beat their wives and/or girlfriends, father multiple children by multiple women and not take care of them both emotionally and financially. We’ve seen players that continue to play after suspensions even after committin’ other acts of violence like child abuse etc.

Nobody cares to be upset with people that are lawless as long as they can help their team win. However, when a man stands up against police brutality, racial and social injustice in America he becomes public enemy No.1. and nobody wants him around even if he can help them win. He’s the most hated man in sports right now because he simply wants better for his people. Just like the great Martin Luther King Jr. was durin’ the time of his death.

Don’t let people fool you into believin’ that MLK was this beloved figure that everyone speaks so highly of today durin’ the Civil Rights Movement.  He was known as the “Outside Agitator” and was the most hated man in America.

The fact that the Seahawks asked Kaepernick if he was goin’ to keep takin’ a knee means that they care nothin’ about what he’s actually tryin’ to accomplish. And again, he doesn’t care about playin’ football because if he did he would have just told them that he wasn’t goin’ to take a knee.

It’s obvious that he wants to make a difference in the world and he’s not goin’ to allow the powers that be to tell him that what he’s doin’ is wrong. What upsets people is that he’s not beggin’ anyone for a job. He doesn’t need the money. What did I tell you that MLK said? “A man can’t ride your back unless it’s bent.”

Kaepernick is willin’ to sacrifice the remainder of his career to bring attention to police brutality, racial and social injustice. I’m not sure how many of you understand just how big that truly is? I can hear Peter Marshall screamin’ to the top of his lungs, “Unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.” Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
