PHOENIX — After getting destroyed in Utah on Monday night the Indiana Pacers bounced back by doing the destroying on Wednesday night in Phoenix. They pulled up on the Suns with a renewed strength shootin’ that thang and playing excellent basketball as they blasted them 112-87.

TJ Warren led all scorers with 25 points as he got loose on his former team. Ole boy played his first five seasons with the Suns before being traded to Indiana in the offseason. So when he got off of the bus he was ready to show and prove.

He had this to say afterwards, “There were a lot of emotions but as soon as the ball went into the air it was time to play basketball. That’s all I was focused on.”

Ole boy went 11 of 18 from the field as the Pacers got back on track winning six of it’s last seven games improving to 29-16 on the season.

Indiana had five players finish in double figures. Domantas Sabonis dropped off his usual double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Doug McDermott came through with 12 as Justin Holiday hit them up for 11 and TJ McConnell dropped off 10 on his way to Big Momma’s house.

The Pacers shot extremely well from the field connecting on 53 percent of their shots and shooting 45 percent from behind the arc. Ball movement was NUTS as they finished with 26 assists as a team.

Nate McMillan was happy with what his guys were able to do. “I love the way we responded. I thought we were solid for 48 minutes.”

Up next the Pacers roll through Golden State on Friday.
