INDIANAPOLIS — After navigating a four game skid the Indiana Pacers have now won two straight. After knocking off the Wizards on Monday night there were leaks that the organization was open to trading certain players to improve their team.

Well…that seemed to kick start the team and on Wednesday night they jumped all over the New York Knicks 122-102 with a 70 point first half! NUTS!!!

All five starters finished with double figures with Chris Duarte leading the way with 23 points. Myles Turner dropped off 22 points followed by Domantas Sabonis’ 21. Malcolm Brogdon dropped off a cool 16 points as Caris LeVert had 15.

Indiana jumped out of the ride with a sense of urgency we haven’t seen for most of the season. They finished with 27 assists as a team sharing the ball like no other.

New York never really had a chance to compete in this one. This was something that the Pacers needed big time. Many fans have literally given up on this team with the empty seats all over the building.

In the postgame presser Rick Carlisle had this to say, “We need to win our fans over and get more people back in the building. That’s important to us.”

It’s definitely been a struggle but the Pacers looked really good in this one. Hopefully they can continue to turn the corner. Up next the Mavericks on Friday.
