Pacers MUST win Game 4 to make the regular season even make sense! “Po Pimp”

INDIANAPOLIS — Back in 1996 the homies Do or Die, Twista and Johnny P. all from the west side of Chicago dropped a hit entitled “Po Pimp” that the streets weren’t ready for. We all had come up in the music game together so I watched them initially sell that joint out of the trunk of the car.

“Do you wanna ride in the back seat of a Caddy and chop it up with Do or Die?” That was the spring and summer anthem of 1996. Now it’s the theme song for today’s Game 4 in Indianapolis. Boston has Indiana on the ropes bleeding from the mouth down 3-0 and it’s a “Po Pimp” Do or Die situation.

Do the Pacers have enough in the tank to extend this series at least another game or do they just lay down and die today? Everybody and their baby’s momma knows that the series is over regardless of what happens in Game 4 but Indiana’s pride is on the line at this point.

Through three games Indiana hasn’t played a full four quarters yet. They’ve played mad aggressive for three quarters and then during one of the four they’ve wet the bed.  After Victor Oladipo went down with a ruptured quad at the knee back in January everybody wrote them off.

However, they picked up Wesley Matthews and kept it pushing winning 45 games and finishing with a number five seed in the East. Initially nobody saw them even making the playoffs. So to even make the post-season was an overachievement.

They played massive basketball to get to the playoffs only to blow their wad in the first three games of this series. They’re a much better team than we’ve seen in this post-season. However, the game is four quarters long and they’ve only given us three in each one of them.

For pride’s sake the Pacers have to play the full four quarters today to at least make the season make sense. It would be pointless to play as hard as they played all season without Oladipo to get completely drug in the first round by a team that was just as good during the regular season. Stop me when I start lyin’!
