Pacers fall short in Denver but still has a successful road trip! “Grindin’!”

On Tuesday night the Indiana Pacers fell short of goin’ undefeated on their four game West Coast road trip when they loss to the Denver Nuggets 107-104. This loss ended their five game winnin’ streak. By all accounts a 3-1 record on a road trip is great! They’re still sittin’ in the fifth spot in the East and boyz are still playin’ with crazy confidence.

Sure they took an “L” in the ball game and had absolutely no answer for Nikola Jokic, who dropped 30 on a boy on his way to Big Momma’s house but they played well headin’ back to the crib.

With only four games left everyone’s gettin’ excited about the playoffs. However, these final four games are critical. You don’t want to fall off and mess up what they’ve been fightin’ for all season. Nobody wants to make an early exit out of the playoffs by goin’ in as a seventh or eighth seed when you don’t have to. So it’s all about grindin’ to the very end.

Victor Oladipo led the Blue and Gold with 25 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Ole boy is playin’ his heart out this year isn’t he? By recordin’ those 4 steals that makes it at least one steal in 61 straight games for Oladipo. That’s the sixth longest streak in NBA history.

Ole boy scored a career high 47 points on Denver the last time they played back on December 10 at Bankers Life but unfortunately, they were in Denver for this one. The Pacers haven’t won a game in the Mile High City since November 7, 2007. That’s nuts!!!

Up next: Golden State on Thursday at the crib. Stop me when I start lyin’!

3) Crib: noun – home

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
