DETROIT — Back on December 26 the Pacers beat the brakes off of the Pistons 125-88. However, just two months later Detroit looked like a brand new team with confidence sitting on 10 as they got past Indiana 113-109 picking up their seventh win in their last eight games on Monday night.

Led by Andre Drummond the Pistons jumped out to a 17 point lead in the first quarter which initially had Indiana shook. However, the Pacers settled down and got back into it outscoring Detroit 31-19 in the 2nd quarter. The Pacers went on a 11-2 run to close out the first half to get to within four at the break.

The Blue and Gold eventually tied it at 75 in the third quarter but Drummond went to work on a boy scoring six of their next nine points. Then the cats from Motown eventually went on a 13-2 in the fourth quarter causing the Pacers problems down the stretch.

Drummond finished with 26 points and 16 rebounds as Blake Griffin hit ’em up with the funky triple double. Ole boy dropped off 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 25 points, Domantas Sabonis dropped off 23 points and 7 rebounds and Darren Collison hit ’em up for 21. Myles Turner was back in the lineup after missing two games with a bruised left hip and only managed 7 points.

The Pacers drop one after winning two straight. Well playas…sometimes it goes down like that. Up next Dallas on Tuesday night in Big D.
