The Pacers were on a four game winnin’ streak when they ran into a bus from Utah carryin’ a red hot Jazz team on Wednesday night. By the time the smoke cleared Indiana had gotten the brakes beaten off of them 104-84 in front of the home crowd.

After strugglin’ to get out of the gate Utah went on a 28-12 run to end the first quarter up 32-20 and didn’t look back. They simply ran through a haphazard effort by the Pacers who shot a mere 38 percent from the field while the Jazz was on fire shootin’ 51 percent.

The Pacers couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with a semi-truck as they shot 13 percent from behind the arc. Coach Nate McMillan’s goal every night is to have at least 25 assists. Well playas…his team finished the night with 12.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! You can’t win ball games not bein’ able to shoot the ball or share it. Did I mention that they only got 15 points total out of the bushes? Well I just did.

Myles Turner led the Blue and Gold with 24 points as Victor Oladipo and Bojan Bogdanovic dropped off 13 apiece. Corey Joseph had 12 as he continues to start in the place of the injured Darren Collison.

With the loss the Pacers fall to the fifth spot in the East from fourth behind the Wizards. Up next Atlanta on Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Out of the bushes: verb phrase – to come off of the bench

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
