Mike Gundy trying to cover his butt saying foolishness. “Once I learned how the network felt about Black Lives Matters, I was disgusted”

Mike Gundy spent Tuesday spilling his guts trying to clean this foolishness up that he created by insulting every black player that has ever played for him at Oklahoma State. Over the weekend he was photographed wearing a OAN (One America Network) t-shirt and on Monday his star player Chuba Hubbard snapped and called him out on Twitter.

Monday evening Gundy shows up in a video that Hubbard tweeted saying that he was going to make changes at Oklahoma State but never apologized for offending his players by wearing it.

So on Tuesday he appears on another video saying, “I had a great meeting with our team today. Our players expressed their feelings as individuals and as team members,” Gundy said. “They helped me see through their eyes how the T-shirt affected their hearts. Once I learned how that network felt about Black Lives Matter, I was disgusted and knew it was completely unacceptable to me.”

Let’s stop right there playa. I’m tired of these cats saying stupid things like “Once I learned how that network felt about Black Lives Matter, I was disgusted.” If you’re wearing an OAN t-shirt then you know who they are. You didn’t just find that t-shirt laying on the ground and just picked it up and put it on. If you know what the network is then you know how they feel about Black Lives Matter. Stop pleading ignorance when you get called out.

I would rather Gundy say that he’s riding with Trump and OAN and everything they stand for than to straight up lie to folks about not knowing who these people really are. It’s ridiculous!!! Then his players have the option of riding with him or leaving the program.

Gundy has been around black people his entire life not only as a player but as a coach and it’s only now that he understands what their pain is? He knows what OAN represents. Stop with this foolishness! He got put on blast and it created a problem not only for himself but for the university and that’s why he’s in clean up mode.

He goes on to say, “I want to apologize to all members of our team, former players and their families for the pain and discomfort that has been caused over the last two days. Black Lives Matters to me. Our players matter to me. These meetings with our team have been eye-opening and will result in positive changes for Oklahoma State football. I sincerely hope the Oklahoma State family near and far will accept my humble apology as we move forward.”

This dude is as bad as Dabo Swinney. At least Dabo told us who he was four years ago. He said out of his own mouth without stuttering on September 13, 2016 when asked about Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the National Anthem that “Some of these people need to move to another country. ”

He went on to say, Two wrongs don’t make a right.” and “Kaepernick kneeling only creates more division.”

At least we knew who Swinney was but now he’s even trying to clean it up because unlike four years ago. It’s no longer popular to have that type of take. He’s on the wrong side of history now.

It’s ridiculous that guys coaching teams that are more than 70 to 80 percent black have no regard for the people they’re coaching. They’re making a fortune off of the backs of these black kids but they don’t care about them once the games and seasons are over. It’s on to the next group of kids that can help them win and make more money. Sounds familiar doesn’t it.

The slave trade never really ended it has just changed costumes. Stop me when I start lyin’!
