Michigan is the Big Ten Champ and puts everybody else on notice! Should be No.1 in final ranking

INDIANAPOLIS — The Michigan Wolverines rolled into Indianapolis on Saturday night with the confidence of George Jefferson strolling. Remember him getting out of the cab walking to the elevators of his new apartment on the sky? The Wolverines had so much swag that they almost pulled a hamstring getting out of the ride. Sixty minutes later 42-3 was carved into Michigan football history. Big Ten Champions!

Fresh off of beating Ohio State they were salivating when Iowa showed up. The Hawkeyes literally backed their way into the Big Ten Championship and everybody including the Hawkeyes understood that.

After a great three and out on Michigan’s first possession. Iowa’s defense looked like it was ready to play. Offensively they were very aggressive on their initial possession taking it right down the field against the vaunted Michigan defense.

They even pulled out a trick play that was done to perfection. Well…except for the fact that the wide open running back tripped over the carpet and missed the ball in the end zone all by himself.

That was the turning point of the ball game. They tripped over their feet and Michigan the rest of the way. The Wolverines beat the doors, windows, transmission and back seats off of the Hawkeyes and didn’t apologize.

By the time the smoke cleared they needed dental records to identify Iowa and its fan base when it over.

Now the maize and blue should be ranked No.1 in the Final College Football Playoff ranking because previously No.1 Georgia got blown out by Alabama.

We’ll just have to wait and see at noon on Sunday when the final rankings are revealed.
