Le’Veon Bell got the WORST advice known to man now what? “Palm Trees in G.I.”

Le’Veon Bell has OFFICIALLY lost his mind!!! Well…he lost it Week 1 of the season when he decided to give $900K per week back to the Steelers that he’d already earned by not showing up to work. Before the season started the dun turned down a 5 year $70 million deal with $17 million in guarantees because the guaranteed bread wasn’t enough. So they put him on the franchise tag of $14.5 million for this year alone and he was upset that the long term deal couldn’t be worked out.

Keep in mind that he played on a franchise tag in 2017 for $12.12 million. Just so we’re as clear as Vodka on this before I blast this dun he made $12.12 million last year. They offered him a 5 year deal worth $70 million and he turned it down. They offered him another franchise worth $14.5 million for ONE year and he turned it down to try to sign a long term deal next year. Just making sure that you understand what’s happening here. So in reality he could have made $26.62 million in two years on franchise tags and still walked away from Pittsburgh after this year and got bread.

Because he won’t officially be a free agent next year because he didn’t play this year. He’s going to be a Steeler next year and they’ll have the option to franchise him again for $25 million. He’d be out of his freakin’ mind to turn that down too. Who cares if you’re playing under a franchise tag as long as the bread is green. Kirk Cousins played under a tag for three straight seasons and got PAID!!!!  Who cares what they call it as long as the money spends?

This is a league where the only thing that is guaranteed is the signing bonus. All other money is contingent upon success and playing time, hitting incentives etc. In other words, they aren’t just giving you all of the bread regardless of what you do or don’t do like they do in the NBA.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! In March of 2009 Sports Illustrated published an article entitled “How and (Why) Athletes Go Broke.” It said, “By the time they have been retired for two years, 78% of former NFL players have gone bankrupt or are under financial stress because of joblessness or divorce. Go read it for yourself playa if you think I’m lyin’. There isn’t an athlete in the NFL that can afford to turn his nose up at $14.5 million that he’s already earned. Not a one.

Le’Veon Bell is out of his mind walking away from money he’s already earned to prove what point bruh? He’s not getting the pie in the sky $100 million deal he’s looking for because he’s a running back. They aren’t paying running backs that type of bread in today’s NFL. They can get a running back from the flea market to do his job. James Connor is a third round pick that’s only costing them $755K towards the cap and he’s ballin’. Bell’s agent sold him palm trees in Gary, Indiana with 85 degree winters. Every client that he has needs to fire him including Le’Veon. Stop me when I start lyin’!
