Kyrie Irving is willing to throw away $427,484.15 per game because he won’t share his vaccination status.

It was Media Day around the league on Monday as the NBA officially kicks training camps off. As the Brooklyn Nets showed up to speak with reporters. One of their biggest assets, Kyrie Irving, was visibly absent and conducting his interviews via ZOOM.

Why? Because he refuses to share whether or not he’s been vaccinated. The NBA doesn’t have a vaccine mandate. However, the city of New York has one in place to enter arenas. Anyone entering has to show proof of at least one shot of the vaccine. Since Kyrie isn’t saying, he can’t enter the arena where he works. In other words, he can’t go to work in New York.

His decision not to cooperate will eventually cost him a fortune for at least all of their home games. That means that Irving stands to lose $427,484.15 per game that he doesn’t play.

The Nets will play 41 games at home so he’ll lose a total of $17,526,850 off of the top. Not to mention the random arenas that may have the same mandates. We already know that San Francisco has the very same mandate, so add an additional $427,484.15 when they visit Golden State. Unbelievable!!!

Well…I guess it isn’t. It’s Kyrie!! He’s the same guy that said the earth was flat and that playing with KD was the first time in his career that he’s play with a player that was clutch. Stop me when I start lyin’!
