IT’S GAME TIME PLAYAS: Conference Championships Predictions! “Next Stop the ATL!!”

Well playas…IT’S GAME TIME!!! It’s Conference Championship Sunday in the NFL and the winners head to the ATL for Super Bowl 53!!! We’ve got four teams left standing playing for all of the marbles today!!! So let’s get to it.

NFC Championship: No.2 Los Angeles Rams (13-3) vs. No.1 New Orleans Saints (13-3)

These are the two best teams in the league at least by record anyway. The Rams have to travel to New Orleans where it’s darn near impossible to win in the Super Dome if you’re not named the Saints. Drew Brees and Co. are 7-2 at the crib this season and they’ve already beaten the Rams there earlier this year in Week 9 45-35 in a thriller.

They were up 35-14 in the second quarter but the Rams came roaring back to tied it up in the fourth. A Will Lutz put them back on top and then Drew Brees hit Michael Thomas on a 72-yard touchdown to seal the deal.

Because Drew Brees is still doing work I don’t see the Rams going to New Orleans pulling up into the Super Dome and winning. Not today playa!! Sean Payton and Co. get to the “A” for Super Bowl 53!!!

AFC Championship: No.2 New England Patriots (11-5) vs. No.1 Kansas City Chiefs (12-4)

I know that Kansas City is doing work with Patrick Mahomes literally destroying boyz out here but I do remember Week 6 where there was only one punt and 30-combined points scored in the fourth quarter with a last second Stephen Gostkowski field goal to win it 43-40 for the Patriots. Yes I know that Andy Reid is 2-2 against the Pats since he’s taken over in KC in 2013. Yes I know that the Chiefs are playing at the crib in Arrow Head Stadium in the cold. I know all of that but one thing everyone needs to know is that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will be on the same team and they are both healthy and conscious today. Therefore, there is no way I am picking against them with all of the marbles on the table and a Super Bowl appearance is the prize. Not me playa!!! Patrick Mahomes is going to have to show me that he can do work on this type of stage first before I bet against Tom Brady and Co. So we’ll sit in the cut and watch this foolishness play out but I’m going with New England to walk out of the joint with the “W.”
