TAMPA — Now I guess boyz will finally put some respect on Tom Brady’s name after continuing to compare him to the young gun Patrick Mahomes for the past two weeks.
All you heard was the GOAT vs. the future GOAT getting ready for this match up in Super Bowl LV. Well…the REAL GOAT pulled up and carved the Chiefs up like a Christmas Turkey at Bob Cratchit’s house. When the smoke cleared the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had beaten the doors, windows, transmission, brakes and back seats off of the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.
I personally didn’t think that the Bucs could win this game going in because of the amount of weapons the Chiefs had on the bus. However, I completely underestimated the Bucs Defensive Coordinator, Todd Boyles.
He called probably the best defensive game in Super Bowl history by completely shutting down Mahomes and that offense. To hold them to 9 funky points and to have the young quarterback running for his life all night was amazing to watch.
With a defense doing that and Brady slicing and dicing up their defense was a masterpiece of football.
All of the Tom Brady haters are quiet this morning and rightfully so. Boyz have been talking about how he’s washed up because he was at one point in the season 1-5 against the good teams etc. Well playas…he just won his 7th Super Bowl and 5th Super Bowl MVP Award.
He’s got more Super Bowls wins than the Steelers and Patriots. They both have 6 wins apiece. He’s got more Super Bowl MVP’s than any other player in history. Joe Montana is second with three.
There is no question that he’s the best quarterback to ever lace them up. It’s not even close. So in my Birdman voice, “Y’all need to put some respeck on his name! Are y’all finish or are y’all done?” Stop me when I start lyin’!
