Ignorant folks upset that spring sports have been cancelled because of the Coronavirus. “GROW UP and be a RESPONSIBLE parent.”

.

The Coronavirus has shut down every major sports league in the country including the NBA. The World Health Organization has named it a Pandemic because it’s spreading all over the world. Not only are sports on hold but schools are closing for up to a month, companies are sending employees home to work virtually. Well…those that can work from home etc.

It’s a very uneasy time with everyone trying to keep from spreading the virus to others and folks trying to keep from contracting it. This is serious business right now. The health and safety of all people is priority No.1.

That’s why I’m trippin’ off of the number of ignorant parents at the high school level that are upset that all spring sports have been cancelled. As I look through my timelines on social media I’m blown away at the amount of parents that are hot because their son or daughter can’t play spring sports this year because of the school district’s decision to not play because of the risk of spreading the Coronavirus.

It’s crazy. I saw one parent literally type out “If the school is doing “E” learning they can still practice.” This is what this genius wrote down for the world to see. Another wrote “Let the kids continue their activities.”

There were a number of folks hot because they’ve got seniors and if nothing else they should be able to play their senior seasons.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! What’s wrong with these people? Less than 1 percent of kids playing anything will eventually make a living do it. So all of these kids will have to get a freakin’ job in 4 to 5 years anyway. Wouldn’t it make sense for them to be healthy and alive 4 or 5 years from now.

Sure, young folks aren’t in danger of dying from the Coronavirus but they sure as heck can transport it to someone who could. Is your life as a parent that miserable that you would rather your kid be put at a higher risk so that you can re-live your childhood through them?

We’ve all seen those parents. The dun that was never any good at sports so now he or she wants to make sure their kid isn’t as horrible as they were growing up. It’s stupid. Why? Because 90 percent of talent is DNA. Either you have it or you don’t. Spending money on a trainer or some cat that will tell you he can make your kid better is foolishness. They can only make better what you bring to them. If the kid doesn’t have the DNA you’re wasting your money but that’s another article.

The seasons have been cancelled because there is a public health emergency going on. It’s over! Finished!! Have your kid sit at home and be safe. There is a 99.999 percent chance that you’re going to be paying for college anyway. If the kid hasn’t been offered a scholarship by now they’re probably not going to be offered. Wake up and start trying to be a responsible parent for the few months you’ve got left. for them in high school. Stop me when I start lyin’!
