The NCAA Tournament was in full effect on Friday with everything that comes with it; upsets, chaos and even the usual idiot fans. Well…let me be specific. The usual social media studio gangsters were crawling like crazy.
Ohio State, a No.2 seed got popped early by No.15 seed Oral Roberts and the foolishness on social media ensued. Now my man J-Boogie (my alter ego) clowned the Ohio State fan base because their team loss. That’s normal fun after teams get knocked off and everybody can have fun with that.
However, some Ohio State fans started attacking their own student-athletes and threatening their lives. Sophomore forward E.J. Liddell who finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds received messages on Twitter that were way out of line.
One idiot fan wrote, “You are such a f—ing disgrace. Don’t ever show your face at Ohio State. We hate you. I hope you die I really do.”
Over a game bruh? This is the foolishness that kids are dealing with because they lost a game. Really?
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! That dun doen’t want any smoke because if he did he would have walked up on him and said it to his face. That’s the thing I hate about social media. Boyz can hide behind their cell phone and be the toughest guy in the world.
That same idiot wouldn’t say a word to that kid if he ran into him on the streets.
Keep in mind tough guy. These kids have families and friends that aren’t in college trying to do the right thing. Always remember that. Don’t get so reckless that you forget that everybody’s watching.
Yo Liddell keep your head up playa. Those fans don’t care anything about you. You’re simply the gladiator battling for their entertainment and when you’re no longer of any use to them. They’ll throw you away for the next kid coming off of the assembly line.
Therefore, get your degree and keep it moving. Use them (the university) while they’re using you. Who care’s what the fans think of you because you already know that you’re simply entertainment. Stop me when I start lyin’!
