The Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo said that professional teams in his state can return to their practice facilities to begin training after more than two months of down time as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Cuomo said on during a news conference on Sunday, “Starting today, all the New York professional sports leagues will be able to begin training camps. I believe that sports that can come back without having people in the stadium, without having people in the arena — do it! Do it! Work out the economics, if you can. We want you up. We want people to be able to watch sports. To the extent people are still staying home, it gives people something to do. It’s a return to normalcy. So we are working and encouraging all sports teams to start their training camps as soon as possible. And we’ll work with them to make sure that can happen.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Governor Cuomo has done an exceptional job of leading the state of New York during one of the most difficult times. As a matter of fact, he’s been a leader for the entire country when it comes to handling things with class and self-control.

He’s been the logical voice of political leadership throughout the country. The fact that he’s not been afraid to say what makes sense when most so-called leaders have literally punted their responsibilities on first down.

If Andrew Cuomo is encouraging teams to get back to training camp then I’ll trust his judgement. Now obviously, they’ve got to listen to the healthcare professionals and experts and follow all necessary guidelines. However, he’s someone from a political standpoint that I’m willing to ride with because his heart is has been in the right place since day one. Thanks bruh for actually doing your job during this crisis. Stop me when I start lyin’!
