OAKLAND, CA. — Well playas…I told you that Houston had blown their wad in Game 1 and it wouldn’t matter how well they played going forward they won’t win this series or even be close to winning this series. They’ll be lucky to win a game. On Tuesday night they played as hard as they could but Golden State was hitting on all cylinders as they walked out of the joint with a 115-109 win to take a 2-0 lead.

It’s something about a 7-game series that it’s critical to take advantage of opportunities to win games when they’re winnable. Houston’s opportunity was in Game 1 to steal home court advantage and the refs jumped in the ride with the Warriors. It’s a shame and anybody acting like the refs didn’t assist Golden State in Game 1 is smoking crack.

Down 2-0 going back home is the worse situation the Rockets could have found themselves in. Golden State, the best team in the league with the best shooting back court EVER and KD, isn’t about to let a boy back into the series.

After Game 1 you already knew that they were going to be on fire in Game 2 with all hands on deck because they were at serious risk of losing Game 1. All five starters finished in double figures with Durant leading the way with 29. That was his first time in the last 6 games that he didn’t finish with 33 or more points.

However, he held it down for the rest of the squad putting in work. Klay Thompson dropped off a smooth 21 points as Steph was battling injuries and he still gave them 20. Iguodala finished with 16 and Draymond dropped 15 for good measure.

James Harden, with blood shot eyes and all, still led Houston with 29 points. Ole boy got hit in the eyes early on but continued to battle.

Up next Game 3 in Houston.
