Fury beats the brakes off of Wilder as boxing becomes relevant again. Well…At least for a night. “Let’s GO!!”

Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and cousin Ray-Ray watched the Fury vs Wilder II fight on Saturday night. Now most folks paid the $79 on PPV to get it. Then there were the dun’s that watched it on Facebook live because there were clowns that literally holding their cameras to the TV for boyz to watch it. That’s the stupid stuff folks do just to get clout in the hood and that’s the edited version.

They want to look like they’re on another level. Not understanding that they’re the one spending money to impress folks that care nothing about them.

Anyway let’s get to the fight. The first fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder ended in a draw but in the second fight Fury left no question who the winner was. The “Gypsy King” used his reach and power to literally destroy Wilder with his right hand. He recorded two knock downs and a whole mess of beatings.

About five rounds in, Fury had ole boy bleeding from his left ear drum. Wilder’s equilibrium was definitely thrown off and he looked every bit of it from that point on.

He was so shook that he kept looking down at his shoes trying to figure out if the grip was working. Naw playa, the grip was just fine. You were just twisted at that point and needed to get out of the ring. For the next two to three rounds he took a beating because Fury was in attack mode. Ole boy even turned savage on him and licked the blood off of Wilder’s neck just to get into his head. Now that was about as bad as Tyson biting Holyfield’s ear off.

I’m surprised that it took two or three rounds for Wilder’s corner to throw in the towel. He could have literally gotten killed fooling around in there. Here’s what Wilder had to say after taking a beating.

“I’m doing good. Things like this happen. The best man won tonight, but my corner threw in the towel, and I was ready to go out on my shield. I had a lot of things going on heading into this fight. It is what it is, but I make no excuses tonight. I just wish my corner would have let me go out on my shield.”

His shield? His shield was destroyed when ole boy blasted his ear drum to pieces. There was no more shield playa!!! He was butt naked out there with roller skates on in a bad pair of sun glasses on at that point. They should have stopped the fight.

Fury showed up 16.5 pounds bigger than he was during their last fight. He weighed in at 275 lbs.!! That’s NUTS!!! He retained the lineal heavyweight championship and seized Wilder’s WBC belt with the win. Now there needs to be a unification bout between Fury and Anthony Joshua because he holds the other three recognized heavyweight championship belts (WBA, WBO, IBF).

This was the biggest heavyweight fight since Lennox Lewis beat Mike Tyson for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. It’s about time that boxing became relevant again. Well…at least for a night. Now let’s get the Fury/Joshua fight booked and we all can fly out to Vegas and get it in. Boxing is fun when there are real personalities in the sport. Let’s GO!!!
