Everybody’s mad at the ref for making the kid cut his dreads but what about the adults that allowed it happen?

I know that everybody and their Uncle LeRoy and cousin Man-Man is fired up about the New Jersey wrestling referee, Alan Maloney, that made the black teenager, Andrew Johnson, from Buena High School cut his dreadlocks off or forfeit his match, let’s have a real conversation. Here’s the video of this foolishness just in case you haven’t seen it.

Now everybody and their baby’s momma is fired up about it and rightfully so because this is just another example of how our kids are treated in this world. So folks should be fired up. However, I’m more fired up at this kid’s parents and all of the freakin’ adults in the building that allowed it to happen. C’mon bruh!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I don’t care how racist the referee was or how crazy he was, he’s working for somebody. As soon as they would have told me what the ref said that to my child or even a child that I knew or anybody’s child I would have been inside of that refs t-shirt giving him the business.

They would have been like, “Hey man get your boy Jay Graves! He’s over there fussing the ref out about something or he’s at least having a very emotional conversation with him.”

You don’t tell a child that or give him the option because he’s a child. So for any parent that would allow someone to humiliate their child like that and not be willing to go to jail is crazy to me. Let’s say that the parents weren’t there right? Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt that they weren’t even in the building. Where was this kid’s coaches, the administrators and the other freakin’ parents that know the kid and his parents?

Why didn’t a single parent run over there and say “hold up bruh!!” Nobody’s touching this kid until I call his parents because he can’t make that decision. Where were those responsible people? Then the woman that cut his hair off was just chopping it off with no respect for the kid’s head.

What that tells me is that NO adult in that building cared about that child or his well being!! NOBODY!!!

Where I grew up, that referee would have had issues getting out of the building telling a kid something like that. I’m just keeping it real. There is no way he would have been able to referee that match after saying something like that because he would have gotten ran out of there.

Here’s the problem that we consistently talk about. Racism continues to flourish because no one is willing to stand up to it. There was a room full of adults that allowed a child to be completely humiliated and nobody said a word. The woman that was chopping the kid’s hair off should be fired too. Here’s rule No.1 for raising kids, “Never leave your children with folks that don’t care anything about your kid.” There wasn’t a person in that building that would allowed someone to tell their own child that and then humiliate him like that. Not a one!!!  Stop me when I start lyin’!
