Dwayne Haskins blew that good job and you already know that Big Momma is hot! “Taken For Granted”

In my Big Momma voice, “You went out there and blew that good job? Boy what’s wrong wit-chu?” That’s exactly what she’s saying to Dwayne Haskins this morning.

Ole boy went from being the 15th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft to being cut on Monday because he didn’t believe that fat meat was greasy. That’s another one of Big Momma’s famous lines and I would bet before the day is over she’s delivered that powerful message too.

Just a week after being fined $40,000 for showing up to his girlfriend’s birthday party mask-less with strippers in attendance and just a day after being benched for playing like he’d never even seen a playbook, the Washington Football Team walked him out of the door.

The birthday party incident was his second violation of COVID-19 protocol. Earlier in the season, while in New York he made a reservation for a family friend at the team hotel the night before a game.

Coach Ron Rivera had had enough of this foolishness. In a statement the head coach had this to say.

“I told him that I believe it benefits both parties that we go our separate ways. We want to thank Dwayne for his contributions these last two seasons and wish him well moving forward.”

Word is, ole boy couldn’t read defenses and couldn’t half call plays fast enough while in the huddle. Coaches had the hardest time getting him to prepare like an NFL quarterback etc. In other words, he was simply showing up and getting a check. That wasn’t going to cut it.

Any time you get benched for dun that was on the practice squad it’s a wrap. Why are we paying this cat to be here if he doesn’t want to do what’s asked of him and he’s not even ballin’?

At 23 years old he’s out of a dream job because he didn’t want to take it seriously. First of all, playing in his hometown didn’t help. He had way more distractions than he ever needed and it has all finally caught up to him.

Do we blame Haskins or do we blame Daniel Snyder for doing what he typically does. Both the coaches and the scouts were against drafting Haskins because of his lack of maturity and Snyder wouldn’t listen.

The good thing is, he’s only 23 with a rocket arm. If he wants to change his work ethic and listen to folks that know more than he does. He could be back on somebody’s roster in no time.

However, he could literally be out of the league just like that because new models come off of the assembly line every year. Nobody wants to fool with a problem especially if they aren’t producing. We’ll just have to see how it all shakes out. Stop me when I start lyin’!
