Duke survives to literally keep EVERYBODY interested in the NCAA Tournament! “Zion is the Key”

Well playas…the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is in the books and there are only 16 teams left. It lived up to all of the hype and then some. Let’s start in the East with the field of 32. Duke barely got out of the joint alive on Sunday night wrestling with UCF. Johnny Dawkins and Co. had Coach K and his crew on the ropes bleeding from the mouth.

The Duke Blue Devils escaped with a 77-76 win over the Golden Knights after a Battle Royale that would have completely destroyed the HYPE and intrigue of the tournament.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If Duke had loss, nobody would have been interested in watching the tournament but the fans of the teams that were still in it. Zion Williams is literally the ONLY reason most casual fans are watching this foolishness. So thank God Duke won. I never thought I would ever say that because I hate Duke as much as everybody does but not Zion.

Virginia Tech, LSU and Michigan State all advance out of the East as well.

As we travel over to the South bracket we see Virginia, Oregon, Purdue and Tennessee survive. Both the Boilermakers and the Volunteers have been the storyline in this bracket. Carson Edwards put up 42 points to help the Boilermakers blast the defending national champs Villanova on Saturday shocking the world. Tennessee continues to do work as they got past Big Ten rival Iowa.

Out West Gonzaga, Florida State, Texas Tech and Michigan all advance. Gonzaga is the No.1 seed but Florida State is the most exciting team to watch and don’t sleep on the Michigan Wolverines. I’m just saying!!!

The Midwest is blazing hot with North Carolina, Auburn, Houston and Kentucky still standing. Both Auburn and Houston are putting in work and could be a serious problem to the No.1 and No.2 seeds. Keep ya head on a swivel playboy.

Big shout to the Big Ten (3 teams), SEC (4 teams) and ACC (4 teams) for representing with 11 of the sixteen schools. It should be fun to watch starting on Thursday.  Like I said earlier, if Duke had gone down most cats would have been out and on to something else. That’s the power of Zion Williamson brand already.

As great as the other teams are playing and all of the storylines that exist. None are as interesting as Zion! Stop me when I start lyin’!
