USA — Well playas…the 2018-19 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Football Team was announced on Tuesday and guess who was named First Team All-USA? The Incomparable David Bell!!! The same cat that was named the Gatorade Player of the Year that helped lead the Warren Central Warriors to the Class 6A State Title. Oh yeah, the same playmaker that was dissed in the Mr. Football voting. What kind of sense does that make?
David Bell is one of THEE best players in the NATION and was named an ALL-AMERICAN but couldn’t win Mr. Football in his own state. I’m not even going to ask for forgiveness for my grammar on this one, so Wheredeydodatat?
What blows my mind are the amount of people that have been trying all week to justify why neither the MOST OUTSTANDING player in the state for 2018, Romeir Elliott and the BEST PLAYER in the state, David Bell, didn’t win the Mr. Football award. Folks are literally trying to tell rational thinking human beings all across this country that someone else in Indiana was better than the dun that was just named ALL-USA. Was there anybody else from Indiana on the ALL-USA team? Uhhhh…nope!!
So how is it that the ONLY All-American from Indiana doesn’t win the Mr. Football Award from his state? Please tell me how that makes sense? I’m listenin’!!!!
It’s shameful to think that there are coaches in this state that literally voted for anybody other than David Bell once Romeir Elliott didn’t make the top four finalists list. There were four Class 6A coaches that know full well what it takes to play at that level and didn’t vote for the Gatorade Player of the Year and a kid that is an ALL-AMERICAN. Mind blowing bruh, simply mind blowing.
It makes the panel that voted in Indiana for the award look like they know nothing about the game of football when the BEST PLAYER IN THE STATE gets dissed by his own state and then makes the ALL-USA team. Stop me when I start lyin’!
