Colts Ryan Kelly, it’s anchor on the offensive line, may be ready to go on Saturday! “Boot Up”

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts may have their starting center, Ryan Kelly, back on the field Saturday for the AFC Wild Card game against the Houston Texans. He suffered a neck injury, which caused pressure on his nerves that impacted his arm strength, in Week 16 against the New York Giants.

He practiced on Wednesday and then spoke with ESPN’s Mike Wells informing him that he should be ready to go on Saturday.

Here’s what he had to say, “It was a big week last week, and I felt after the [Tennessee] game and going through some walkthrough stuff [Tuesday], I felt like the strength was back. Doing some things to hopefully help my neck stay in the same spot and not move around too much. Other than that, I feel well.”

If Kelly can go on Saturday it would be the first time the entire offensive line has played together since November 18. What’s so crazy about this is that even without them all being healthy at the same time they are tied with New Orleans for the fewest sacks in the NFL this year with 18. That’s NUTS considering they led the league in sacks a year ago with 56.

T.Y. Hilton didn’t practice on Wednesday as he’s still nursing an ankle injury suffered back on December 9 at Houston. He’s only participated in practice twice since suffering the injury but nobody’s concerned because he’s been balling out. Let him get healthy and we’ll see him on Saturday because he owns Houston’s NRG Stadium with 932 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns in 7 career games.

In my Bart Scott voice, “Cant’ Wait!!”
